Who am I?

I grew up in the Veneto, in a country town once part of the Most Serene Republic of Venice. After a BA in Philosophy at Ca' Foscari University, I moved to Amsterdam to study Logic at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation.

I am now a fifth-year PhD student at MIT Linguistics, working on the general principles that govern entailment and grammaticality in natural language. Beyond research and teaching, I enjoy learning about music and playing chess.
